The Family Farm

Well, after a brief hiatus of over a year or so, I've decided it's time to get back on the blog scene.  Let's just say that my life had gotten a little... well... busy. Anyway, yesterday I took a ride down to Slatington to do some portraits for a family get-together. It's not often that everyone is in one place at the same time, so they got in touch with me to come down and capture everyone for the family scrapbook.
It was the perfect scene for photographs. A farmhouse, a big red barn, horses, dogs, cats, lots of land with fences, and overcast skies... What more could you ask for? Fortunately for us, we had enough time before getting slammed with some heavy thunderstorms. A wonderful afternoon altogether.
Here is one of my favorite shots.. and well, the only one I've had time  to pull out of the bunch at the moment really...

Thank you for your patience and flexibility in organizing and and setting-up photos over multiple backdrops for our 18 family members! We are so glad that you were available to share your expertise and vision with us! I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the photos!! Esther
